The Kawai GL‑30 AURES2 combines the classic playing character of a concert grand with modern digital piano technology and an integrated mute function. This allows the instrument to be used at any time of day without sacrificing naturalness in acoustic playing.

The specially tuned soundboard system works with four transducers and produces a wide-ranging, natural sound projection. This creates a lively, spatial sound image that extends the piano’s acoustic resonance behavior.

The newly developed GP Touch Muting ensures that the touch when playing muted does not feel noticeably different from acoustic playing — typical differences between loud and muted playing are thereby minimized.

The tonal foundation is provided by the distinctive SK‑EX concert grand sound, which gives the AURES2 instruments their tonal presence.
