The Kawai GL-10 is the direct successor to the proven GM-10 and has been specifically developed further in terms of tone and playability. The instrument combines a precise touch with a full tonal spectrum: powerful fortissimos and sensitive pianissimos are equally supported. This is due in part to the Millennium III action with ABS-carbon, which provides stability and even transmission of the player’s force. Longer keys increase control and the playing feel; in addition, the grand piano features a slow-closing key lid for extra protection.

Further construction details: hammer caps made of ABS-carbon are less susceptible to temperature and humidity fluctuations. Built-in agraffes ensure precise string positioning and even tone attack. The conically shaped soundboard made of solid spruce transmits the string vibrations for a round, resonant tone, while hardwood bridges (e.g. beech or maple) ensure optimal string pressure and sound transfer. The keybed is made of hardwood and additionally reinforced with a steel rail, which supports the durability and stability of the construction.

The scope of delivery includes free delivery within Germany by specialist transport (including carry-in to floors, without special difficulties), tuning after acclimatization, a piano bench, a music desk lamp and three floor protectors. Interest-free financing for up to 24 months is possible.
