Due to a move, we are reluctantly parting with our Kawai RX-3C grand piano.
The instrument is in a very well-maintained condition and has been little played. It was professionally tuned at least once a year; additionally, it received a tuning a few days ago.
On inspection no mechanical wear is visible; a sideways view of the keyboard also shows no damage. The hammers are neatly aligned and show no visible signs of wear.
The grand was kept in a dedicated music room without direct sunlight. There, a cold-evaporation air washer continuously maintained an optimal humidity of about 50–60%, even during the heating season. This protected the wood and the soundboard is free of cracks.
Kawai’s professional RX series is designed both for demanding pianists and for teaching and studio use. This instrument is distinguished by a clear, balanced tone; the precise Millenium iii action allows very good control of the touch.
