This Steinway & Sons Model A-188 (188 cm) is a compact salon grand that delivers a full, warm and powerful tone while remaining suitable for domestic and small performance spaces. Its scale design allows the solid spruce soundboard to vibrate freely, producing rich bass and a balanced tonal palette.

Restoration & cabinet work: the instrument received a full cabinet restoration. A new handcrafted Canadian Sitka spruce soundboard and ribs were installed by Bolduc, together with hand-notched bass and violin hardrock maple bridge top caps. The plate has been re-bronzed and lacquered, and the bass and tenor use a new combination of agraffes. Premium German Heller strings were fitted throughout.

Action & mechanical: the keyboard and action underwent complete restoration using genuine Steinway hammer shanks, flanges and repetitions. New genuine Steinway hammers were installed. Dampers were fully restored with authentic Steinway damper felts and the entire action was regulated to Steinway specifications to ensure precise touch and reliable performance.

Warranty and package: the piano is offered with a 10-year parts warranty and 5 years labour coverage. The package includes a bench, delivery and complimentary tuning after installation.
