The instrument underwent a complete general overhaul in 2025.

During the overhaul, high-quality new parts were installed: new finish, new strings and new tuning pins of first-class quality. All wear parts were renewed, including original Steinway hammer heads from Hamburg, new hammer shanks, rollers, lift levers and damping elements.

With regard to tone and action, we oriented ourselves to current Steinway instruments. Thanks to the new hammer heads and the comprehensive restoration, the grand piano now presents a clear, beautiful tonal character and a very balanced, pleasant touch — also suitable for demanding pianists.

Trial playing: Our showroom at Nonnenplan 3 in Jena offers over 700 m² of constantly available new and used grands and upright pianos from leading brands for trial playing. We are happy to advise you on site, by e‑mail or by telephone.

VAT: VAT is included but is not shown (margin scheme).

Delivery: The price includes delivery within Germany, including access to floors, provided there are no special difficulties such as the need for a crane. For Austria and the Benelux countries a surcharge of 100.00 EUR will be charged.

Warranty: 5 years' warranty is included in the purchase price. The guarantor is Pianelli Music Store, Pianelli GmbH, Nonnenplan 3, 07743 Jena.

Scope of the warranty: The warranty relates to the functionality of the purchased item. Damage caused by improper handling or inadequate maintenance is excluded. The warranty includes free replacement of material and labour; further costs are not covered. Tunings and other service work are not part of the warranty services.

Duration and territorial scope: The warranty is valid for 5 years from handover and is geographically limited to Germany and the rest of the European mainland.

Conditions: The warranty is only granted if the buyer complies with the usual conditions. The instrument is sensitive to climatic fluctuations; the relative humidity in the room where it is placed should be between 40% and 60%. Direct heat from radiators and direct sunlight should be avoided. We are happy to advise you on possible measures for a suitable indoor climate.
