We present the Yamaha C2X SH, a new 173 cm grand piano that delivers a remarkable sonic response. The frame incorporates more robust bracing that enhances resonance and the richness of tonal nuances; together with the new soundboard, this amplifies the performer’s expressivity. The strings have been designed to provide longer sustain and greater harmonic richness. The know‑how in constructing the frame is reflected in a solid, stable structure. The hammers are based on developments from the CF concert handcrafted series, which improves articulation and tonal color. Professional regulation and voicing give the instrument life and dynamism. Its design seeks a close fusion between piano and pianist while maintaining the reliability typical of a Yamaha grand. In addition, it incorporates the Silent system for quiet practice without sacrificing the touch.
