Further information: The cabinet was newly lacquered in black polyester. In our specialist workshop the acoustic system was overhauled; this also included replacement of the pinblock. The piano received new tuning pins; the bass and treble strings were replaced. The hammer heads and damper felts were also replaced. The key frame felts were renewed, and the keys as well as the brass parts were polished.
