For lack of space and time to play, I am parting with my compact oak piano. The wood grain shows through the timeless matte black finish. My father bought the piano in 1986 from Klavier Hirsch in Munich. The manufacturer for this small in-house Carl Hirsch piano, model 104, was the company May in Berlin (a subsidiary of Schimmel). Purchase contract and warranty certificate are still available. Description at the time: 7 1/4 octaves, wonderful tonal fullness, modern, attractive cabinet, Renner action, tear-resistant multi-layer tuning block, special keyboard covering, tear-resistant bridges, tear-resistant soundboard, gluing of the woods suitable for tropical climates. Width: 133 cm, depth: 52 cm, height: 104 cm.

It has 2 pedals and a damping lever, which is very practical for playing outside quiet hours.

The piano was serviced by Klavier Hirsch in 2009 and was last tuned then. Since then it has stood in the bedroom of my non-smoking apartment on the 3rd floor against an interior wall and still sounds very nice and is barely out of tune. Its first home in 1986 was my small 9 m² youth bedroom and it is perfectly suited to a small apartment.

A trial play is possible at any time by arrangement. A full tuning for €140 can be carried out at short notice by the company Klavier Hirsch, which is only 1 km away and still in operation, on request before transport. A specialist company can be recommended for transport.
