German Sauter midnight blue R2 120 cm piano for sale. serial number 97610 (year of production 1991) in almost new condition with Renner R2 mechanism patented by Krauss to mimic the double escapement of the grand piano and increase the speed of the beats, furthermore the mute is absent to have the escapement regulated as much as possible like a grand piano, better pianissimo and retorted.

This is a "tropicalized" model built with special materials to better resist changes in temperature and humidity.

The piano has just been tuned and set up by the tuner and is in a perfect state of sound and mechanical conservation.

The Sauter brand is the oldest active piano factory in Europe, having been building pianos since 1819 in Spaichingen near the Black Forest. It is known among industry experts for its European sound rich in harmonics, the quality of its craftsmanship and the innovation of some patents such as the R2 patent on verticals to mimic the double escapement of the tail.
