Steinway & Sons’ long-standing experience in piano making is reflected in the K-132 model: a genuine instrument appreciated in concert halls that also shows its strengths in larger living spaces or as a teaching piano. The piano is fully tuned, features a sostenuto pedal and offers fine dynamic gradations as well as a balanced touch for beginners and professionals.

The exceptional tonal quality is based on the use of carefully selected woods. North American Sitka spruce as well as maple, mahogany, pine and beech are dried for two years in special wood storage facilities before installation. This process increases durability and makes the instrument particularly suitable for frequent players.

The carefully regulated action transmits the energy of the touch precisely to the strings. New, finely voiced hammerheads ensure a harmonious response from the softest pianissimo to a powerful forte and enable nuanced playing.

As with all our acoustic instruments, we provide five years’ warranty on this Steinway & Sons K-132. Each used piano is thoroughly inspected and, if necessary, restored in our modern workshop by our dedicated piano builders. No instrument is offered for sale without the careful inspection by our master piano builder Thomas Kreisel; a final check before delivery is, of course, performed.
