Yamaha U3A upright piano, serial number 3959554, built in Japan in 1985. Height 131 cm, length 65 cm, width 153 cm; black finish, 88 keys and 3 pedals. Used instrument, kept in excellent condition, with original action and keyboard.

The sound is full and deep, with a slightly softer tone thanks to reinforced felt under the hammers and a larger reinforcement bar, which provides greater tuning stability compared with the U3H and U3M models. The string length and the size of the soundboard give a tonal body similar to that of a grand piano.

In terms of action and touch, the U3A model is particularly suitable for students and teachers engaged in long practice sessions; it is also widely used in conservatories, music schools and for concert performances.
