The YUS1 with TransAcoustic™ TA2 allows stepless volume control and the playback of self‑recorded pieces through the soundboard, creating the impression that the entire instrument acts as a speaker. The technology converts audio signals into vibrations via a transducer, thereby enhancing the acoustic experience.

In addition, the piano offers the Silent function with the latest SH system: play silently with headphones and select authentic concert grand piano sounds (including the Yamaha CFX and the Bösendorfer Imperial). This lets you practice at any time without disturbing others, or play along with recorded tracks in a duo.
