Once the showpiece of a classical theatre in northern England, this Blüthner was retrieved from under the stage by PianoVisions and carefully rescued last year.

The grand has been fully restored to an almost‑new condition, using only high‑quality materials and original parts. The result is an instrument with the characteristic, warm 'golden tone' for which Blüthner is known.

The case is finished in high‑gloss black polyester, re‑sprayed for a durable and chic appearance. The furniture features straight legs with subtle details and a straight music desk in the traditional Blüthner style, fully in keeping with this model.

Mechanically, the grand is fitted with the Patent action, which is distinguished by a smooth and light touch. In the treble the special Aliquot stringing (an extra fourth string) has been applied, which contributes to the uniquely singing tone.
