Steinway & son Grancoda piano model D 274. fully restored in 2023 with original Steinway materials (list of work carried out available) by experienced and competent repairers specialising in Steinway. Dense and deep sound in the bass, crystal clear in the cantabile, very long sustain. Prepared as a concert piano: smooth keyboard, with the right weight, docile to the touch, in glissandi, in ribattuti. The three pedals are particularly smooth and sensitive. The instrument belonged to a great pianist and a family with an ancient musical tradition.
