This Yamaha U1D model is known for a somewhat softer, warm sound, typical of older U1 constructions.
Originally, U1D pianos were fitted with two pedals; in our revisions a third (moderator) pedal is consistently added. This extra pedal is visually recognizable by the rounded contours on the top lid.
