This Yamaha U1D (height 121 cm) offers a warm and relatively soft tone, characteristic of U1D models from the period 1959–1965.
The instrument is finished in black lacquer and has 88 keys. Although the model was originally delivered with two pedals, we install a third (moderator) pedal as standard during our refurbishments; this is visible in the curves of the top lid.
Each piano receives a full technical inspection and is delivered by us ready to play. The action and the keyboard are checked so the instrument is immediately playable.
This example combines the recognizable, warm vintage sound with a neat black finish — suitable for both home use and practice rooms.
