Yamaha U1E, an upright model with a height of 121 cm, produced in the period 1965–1970; this example is from 1968.
As the successor to the U1D, the U1E features a robust, traditional U1 construction. Its appearance aligns with the contemporary U1 series, with the same clear construction principles and finish.
The instrument has 88 keys and is equipped with three pedals. The neat black finish is particularly noticeable around the keyboard and the front.
