This U1 model (produced between 1965–1970) shares construction and appearance with the current Yamaha U1 models and is fitted with three pedals. The instrument has been professionally renovated: both the interior and the cabinet have been thoroughly worked on.

Work carried out and parts:
- Cabinet sprayed in high-gloss polyester; finish new.
- Keytops replaced; fallboard fitted with slow-fall.
- Soundboard re-lacquered.
- Strings and hammer heads repaired or replaced where necessary.
- All felt parts and the bearing work in the action renewed.
- Brass parts polished and refurbished.

Extras and warranty:
The piano features a practice pedal and we provide a 10-year warranty on this instrument after the overhaul.

Silent system:
We offer several silent solutions; we regularly have Yamaha instruments with an original factory-installed silent system. However, most often we offer a universal silent system so you are free to choose a piano from our full range and we will install the desired silent system.
