Introducing the Yamaha Vienna Series V118 Silent upright piano c.2003

Now on display and available for selection, this Yamaha V118 is an increasingly rare opportunity, particularly with the factory-fitted Yamaha Silent System.

Purchased new in 2003 by its sole owner, the piano has seen relatively little use throughout its life and remains in excellent condition. It has been exceptionally well cared for and presents beautifully throughout.

At 118cm tall, the V118 is an ideal mid-sized upright piano for the home, offering a rewarding balance of musical performance and practicality. Its elegant traditional cabinet features soft styling and a refined soft-close fallboard, giving the instrument a timeless appearance suited to both contemporary and classic interiors.

Manufactured in the UK and sharing much of its design with the Yamaha U1N and Kemble K121, the V118 was developed specifically with European tastes in mind. Featuring an Austrian spruce soundboard and a warmer, more mellow tonal character than many Yamaha uprights, it delivers a rich and expressive sound while retaining the reliability and consistency for which Yamaha is renowned.

Although the original Silent System is now from an earlier generation, it remains a valuable feature, allowing the piano to be played privately through headphones whenever required.
