The modèle 3 Pleyel is legendary in the piano world. A beautifully scaled acoustic body imbues the piano with a rich, warm and very dark tone, suitable for drawing detailed nuanced from piano music of all genres. Of course, the Pleyel piano is ideal for the music of Chopin with the slightly veiled sonority evident in this example.

We have meticulously restored this 1910 modèle 3 over a period of 12 months. The works have included a new keyboard, a new Ciresa soundboard and a new action. Although the works undertaken are extensive to assure the quality and longevity of this piano, everything has been done with full knowledge and regard to the detailed specifications of Pleyel from the time that this piano was originally manufactured.

As the official UK supplier of new Pleyel pianos, we also have access to the Pleyel design archive to ensure that our restored Pleyels perform and sound exactly as the Pleyel piano firm intended.
