The Steinway & Sons grand piano Model A‑188 combines traditional craftsmanship with modern precision. With a length of 188 cm it is suitable for different room sizes and delivers an impressive, balanced sound image.

Origin and condition

The instrument was built in 2000 at the Steinway manufactory in Hamburg and is in the first ownership of a private customer. Thanks to careful maintenance, the grand presents itself in very good condition both cosmetically and technically.

Sound character

The grand impresses with a full, rounded tone with clear highs and warm lows. This sonic spectrum allows both powerful and finely graded, sensitive performances and supports the player's expression and dynamics.

Action and touch

Equipped with the well‑known Steinway action, the instrument offers a reliable, precise response and excellent playability. The action responds sensitively to nuances and enables differentiated playing.

Pedalboard

The grand has three pedals, including a sostenuto pedal that allows the sustaining of individual notes or chords, thereby opening additional expressive possibilities.

Accessories and service

Included in the purchase are five years of KlavierLoft guarantee, the initial tuning after delivery, as well as casters and a care kit. The initial tuning after delivery is included for Vienna and surrounding areas.

Showroom and trial playing

Visit and test this instrument as well as numerous other grands in our showroom. On approximately 700 m² we present about 100 uprights and grands; many instruments are not listed online or are still being prepared. Trial playing is possible Monday to Saturday during opening hours.

Additional services

On request we organize transport throughout Austria. We also offer installation options such as silent systems or humidification systems.
