For sale: a well‑maintained Steinway & Sons A‑188 with a length of 188 cm. The instrument was built in 2000 at the Steinway factory in Hamburg and is in first ownership; it is in very good condition both visually and technically.
Sound character
The grand delivers a full, rounded tone with clear trebles and warm bass. This tonal range is suitable both for powerful passages and for finely nuanced, expressive playing, and supports the pianist’s dynamic range.
Action and playing characteristics
The proven Steinway action provides precise response and a sensitive touch. The action responds reliably to dynamic gradations and allows differentiated articulation.
Pedals
The instrument is equipped with three pedals, including a sostenuto pedal that enables selective sustaining of individual notes or chords and opens additional possibilities for shaping the sound.
Accessories and service
Included in the purchase are five years of KlavierLoft warranty, the initial tuning after delivery, as well as protective pads and a maintenance kit. The initial tuning after delivery in Vienna and the surrounding area is included in the price.
Showroom and trial playing
Viewings and trial playing are possible in our showroom. On approximately 700 m² we display around 100 upright and grand pianos; many instruments are not yet listed online. Trial playing is available Monday to Saturday during opening hours.
Additional services
On request we organize transport throughout Austria. We also offer installation options such as silent systems or humidification systems.
