This privately owned instrument, built in 2000, is a semi-concert grand suitable for larger auditoria and chamber repertoire. The high-gloss black cabinet shows only minor signs of wear, and the action exhibits light use. The piano is supplied with its original cover, care pack and lock key.

Recent works and specification: new Abel hammer felts have been fitted to Fazioli specification, and the instrument has received a full service carried out by a leading UK Fazioli technician.

Construction and sound: handcrafted in Sacile, Italy, the F228 pairs a Renner action with an Italian Ciresa soundboard made from selected white alpine spruce. Attention to materials and finish — including a poplar-veneered inner rim and finely veneered backframe — yields powerful resonance, precise control and an even, balanced touch that suits demanding repertoire.
