The Yamaha U1M, built between 1980 and 1982, is known for a generally slightly softer and warmer tone than many other U1 models.

Our refurbished Yamaha pianos and grands are fully restored and present themselves as instruments that are almost like new. Both the internal components and the cabinet undergo a thorough overhaul: the cabinet receives a high-gloss polyester finish, the keytops are replaced and the soundboard is refinished. The internal action is refurbished so the inside looks like new again. We offer a 5-year warranty on these instruments.

Strings and hammerheads are repaired or replaced if necessary. As standard we replace all felt parts and carry out the required adjustments to the action. All brass parts are polished and look like new again. The pianos are fitted with a practice pedal and a slow-fall on the keyboard fallboard.

Silent option
We supply several types of Yamaha silent systems and regularly have pianos with an original factory-installed Yamaha silent system. However, most of the time we offer a universal silent system. The advantage of this is that you are free to choose from our full range; we install the desired silent system in the instrument you choose.
