C. Bechstein VS Steinway:
While Steinway is the most known manufacturer it has a much different tone. Clarity in both Bass and Treble are not on the same league as the Bechstein in a concert platform. A Steinway has a coloured midrange which adds a dark overtone and has a more nasal like sound throughout the registers on even the modern pianos they make
C. Bechstein VS Bosendorfer
The Bosendorfer has the rich deep tones on the bass and lower midrange. The Bechstein has a more cleaner and purer sound. The Bosendorfer has a bit more clarity than a Steinway on the upper mid to treble, but not nearly the same caliber as the Bechstein. If you are looking for a tonally beautiful mid to treble sound this Bechstein is a better fit.
C. Bechstein VS Fazioli
Fazioli has a very bright and energetic tone. Between a crystalline or glassy. It is clear and has power, but it doesn't have the body a C. Bechsteun does. A very technically great sound, but to me it lacks warmth or soul. Like it was made to have as a clean a sound of possible regardless of whether it has any character to it
C. Bechstein VS Bluthner
This is the exact opposite of the Fazioli. Bluthner has a lot of warmth and character. Very tonally rich. However, it lacks power and dynamics that take that character and make it sound alive. The Bechstein will have the singing tone and character without the same limitation that exist in the Bluthner
You are welcome to PM me to arrange an in person audition of if you need more photos or videos
