This Kawai GL-30 grand piano was manufactured in Japan around 2022 and is finished in polished black. Measuring 5'5" (166 cm), it occupies a comfortable middle ground between baby grands and larger concert instruments, offering enhanced projection and depth while remaining suitable for homes, studios and teaching rooms.

The instrument has had a single owner and has been used in a private domestic environment. Externally the cabinet is in excellent condition and presents almost like new. Internally the piano is also in very good mechanical order: our technicians have fully serviced and prepared the instrument to meet high technical and musical standards.

The GL-30 belongs to Kawai’s respected GL Series and features the Millennium III action with ABS-Carbon parts, giving the action strength, stability and consistent performance over time. The touch is responsive and controllable, providing finesse for detailed playing and enough power when required.

Sonically the piano delivers a warm, mellow core with clarity across registers. The bass provides satisfying depth for this size, the mid-range is smooth and even, and the treble remains bright without harshness. This balanced tonal character makes the instrument versatile for a wide range of musical styles and suitable for both developing students and more experienced players.
