The touch of a concert grand piano — thanks to the use of a larger action like that of a bigger piano — is found in each and every Konzert grand piano, even those of smaller size. Only spruce that grows under specific conditions in high mountain regions can be used to make a quality soundboard. This wood, rare and highly valuable, is selected exclusively and reserved for Schimmel thanks to the Bavarian Forestry Service.
