Sherwood Phoenix Pianos Nottinghamshire presents a Schimmel 150 baby grand in black polyester finish. This German-made instrument (1996) has been owned by a single careful custodian and remains in very good aesthetic and mechanical condition. The action is by Renner and the hammers show minimal wear, reflecting light use over the years.

Musically the piano offers a medium, well-balanced tone with a light-to-medium touch, making it responsive and enjoyable across styles. Despite its compact 150 cm length, our technician and pianist both noted unusually strong projection for an instrument under 5 ft — a rare combination of clarity and depth in this size.

The instrument was voiced, regulated, tuned to concert pitch and mechanically checked before listing, so it is ready to play. We have prepared a short video demonstration — you are welcome to watch it or visit the showroom to try the piano in person.

Our Mansfield (Nottinghamshire) showroom is open Monday–Saturday 10:00–17:30; Sundays by appointment. All listed pianos are available to view and play in-store. If you prefer not to play, our pianist will demonstrate instruments for you.
