Steinway & Sons M-170, 5'7" (170 cm) medium grand in excellent, well-maintained condition.
Purchased new in 1954; serial number 34415.
All 88 keys, three pedals, the action, hammers and related mechanics are in perfect working order. The touch is responsive and the action operates smoothly; the instrument is kept regularly tuned.

Approximately five years ago this piano received new, genuine Steinway hammers and matching shanks manufactured by Renner (Germany). There are no Teflon bushings on the hammer shanks.
