Cabinet
The cabinet of this piano has been finished with Italian polyester lacquer in a deep black. Selected elements — including the large underside lid, the support strip of the lid, the prop, the surround and the inner surface of the keyboard fallboard — received clear Italian polyester lacquer and decorative exotic wood veneering, giving the instrument an individual character.

Acoustic section
The soundboard has been renovated and sealed with Italian lacquer. New bridge caps for the bass and treble bridges were prepared, made from selected beech and profiled in four stages. Strings from renowned manufacturers have been installed — bass strings by Heller and treble strings by Roslau — individually scaled based on precise measurements. A new five-layer pinblock made of hard maple with tight grain has been fitted, improving the stability of drilling and tuning. The cast-iron frame was refurbished and coated with a lacquer chosen to suit the character of the instrument.

Mechanical section
An original, complete, new Steinway & Sons action has been installed in the instrument, providing excellent control and fast response. The keyboard was thoroughly restored using original Steinway components; the white keytops were replaced with new ones in Kluge Ivoplast material. The action was precisely regulated.

Tuning and voicing
The piano was tuned eight times and received detailed voicing carried out by a certified technician.
