Sherwood Phoenix Pianos Nottinghamshire presents a Steinway & Sons Model S baby grand in black polyester, manufactured in Germany in 2001. This instrument has been owned by a single careful owner and kept in a private family home, showing an exceptionally well-maintained condition for its age.

Measuring approximately 155 cm (5'1") in length, the Model S is Steinway’s smallest grand piano. Despite its compact footprint, it delivers a rich, warm tone and a responsive touch that reflects Steinway craftsmanship, making it an excellent choice for those seeking grand sound in a practical size.

Modern Model S examples with a documented history are relatively uncommon on the pre-owned market, so this is a notable opportunity to acquire a high-quality compact Steinway grand.

All pianos shown are available to play in our showroom in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire (open Monday–Saturday). Our three-floor showroom features over 250 instruments across upright, baby grand, grand and concert grand categories. If you prefer not to play, our in-house pianist can demonstrate any instrument, and we make efforts to provide private space for your visit when needed.

Showroom opening hours: Monday – Saturday 10:00–17:30; Sundays by appointment only.

With more than 7,000 pianos sold over the years, Sherwood Phoenix Pianos aims to help you find the instrument that best suits you, your family or friends. We invite you to visit and try this Steinway S-155 and our wider selection.
