Kawai KS-1 Upright Piano is made in Japan, so it is one of the product lines of high quality. The Kawai KS-1 is bigger than Yamaha's U1, and slightly smaller than the Yamaha U3, a perfect professional piano size. This particular Kawai KS-1 has a cabinet with some finer architectural features and the finishing quality is a little higher than you will find in other Japanese makes of piano.
