The Yamaha U1F is a short-lived version produced around 1970–1971, developed as a predecessor to the better-known U1H model. This example has three pedals and a characteristic case finish with chamfered edges on the top board and the fallboard.

Our refurbished Yamaha uprights and grands are completely rebuilt and adjusted to near-new condition. Both the interior and exterior have been thoroughly overhauled: the case is finished with polyester high-gloss lacquer and the keytops have been replaced. The soundboard has received a new varnish layer and internal parts have been restored to near-new detail.

For this instrument we offer a 10-year warranty as a result of the revision performed. Strings and hammerheads have been repaired or replaced where necessary; all felts and the action bushings have been renewed as standard. Brass parts have been polished and all pianos are supplied with a practice pedal and a slow-fall fallboard.

Silent piano options
We carry several silent systems in our range and generally install universal silent solutions. Occasionally we encounter Yamaha instruments with an original factory-installed Yamaha silent system; most of the time, however, we offer the flexibility to select a piano from our full range and have a silent system fitted to it.
