This is a Yamaha U1H from the well‑known U1 series, one of Yamaha’s most common and sought‑after upright pianos. The U1H was widely built in the 1970s and is known for its reliable action and clear, balanced tone.

This instrument has been fully restored and returned to an almost like‑new condition. Both the internal components and the cabinet were thoroughly refurbished: the cabinet has been repainted in high‑gloss polyester, the soundboard has been re‑varnished and all visible parts have been refurbished.

Technical and service work:
- key coverings replaced;
- strings and hammer heads repaired or replaced where necessary;
- all felts and the action bearings renewed;
- all brass parts polished so they look like new;
- fitted with a practice pedal and a soft‑close fallboard.

We provide a 10‑year warranty on this restored piano because both the interior and exterior have been fully restored and inspected.

Silent system
We offer several silent systems. Occasionally we find original Yamaha silent systems (factory‑installed), but usually we install a universal silent system to your specification. The advantage is that you are free to choose from our full range of pianos; we install the silent system into the instrument you choose.
