This concert grand piano was built in Hamburg in 2006 and was originally purchased by one of Britain’s distinguished Royal Theatres. As part of a theatre programme where the instrument was only required on rare occasions, it has seen very limited use and remains a remarkably modern example of Steinway’s flagship concert grand. The piano has recently been fully prepared in our workshops and has been expertly set up by John Ross, former Head Technician and Head of Workshop at Steinway & Sons UK for over 38 years. His expertise ensures the piano performs exactly as a Model D should, with precision, balance and complete confidence throughout.
