This piano has all the exquisite details afforded by a brand new Steinway Concert Artist piano at a fraction of the cost. The rich sound of this instrument is very special and must be heard to be believed. Seller is a discriminating concert pianist and has left no musical detail incomplete. For example, the piano enjoys a new pinblock, pins, and strings (Including custom imported bass strings for extra deep bass); new bridge caps, new keys, bushings; everything new on the inside except the original hand crafted soundboard and the plate (Like an aged wine – the board was kept in the piano to maintain the beautiful vintage sound …. that even the recent new Steinways cannot duplicate) ; Harp; Original Vintage Soundboard; and the ebony exterior cabinet of the instrument have all meticulously refinished to look gorgeous and sound wonderful. It’s original action has been replaced with a brand new Action with Steinway parts and installed and regulated according to factory specifications. Everything in this instrument is high end including the refinished exterior. (Extra thick Wurdock refinishing material was used which is the same as a new premium Steinway) This gorgeous instrument looks, feels, and plays as new.
