Apollo A35 206 cm — Refurbished Japanese Grand

Apollo A35 grand piano — 206 cm

Serial number: 184744 · Made in Japan

The Apollo A35 is a substantial Japanese grand piano that combines solid construction with a vivid, energetic sound and a notably comfortable touch. Built by Toyo Piano Manufacturing Co. (Apollo), the instrument reflects the Hamamatsu piano-making tradition and a commitment to quality materials and engineering.

Sound and performance

At 206 cm, this A35 delivers the depth and presence expected from a larger grand. The bass register is deep, warm and resonant, while the treble sings with clarity, power and brilliance. The piano offers ample dynamic reserve, making it suitable both for intimate repertoire and pieces that require projection and drive. Overall the tonal character is direct and articulate, with a pleasantly spirited Japanese character.

Touch and condition

The keyboard has a light, well-played-in feel that allows easy, expressive playing. The action responds naturally and with precision, giving good control over dynamics and articulation. Both the action and the keyboard have been thoroughly serviced and revised. The cabinet has been carefully refurbished and presents very well.
