This Blüthner Model X (type 10, 166 cm) in walnut satin was fully and professionally restored in 2023.
The grand has a light and refined touch with a clear, sparkling character in the treble thanks to the characteristic Blüthner aliquot system.
Restoration work carried out:
New action and new hammerheads
New dampers
Restoration of the keyboard with ivory
New soundboard
New strings and tuning pins
Frame/casework repainted
Cabinet restoration and hand polish; fine walnut book-matched veneer with a warm appearance
The Model 10 range (Model X) is rare. Due to the compact length of 166 cm this grand is particularly suitable for standard living rooms and smaller stages.
