Description
We present a restored Bluthner grand piano 2 (238) with a length of 238 cm, finished in deep black with Italian polyester lacquer.
Acoustic section:
The soundboard underwent a full restoration and was then sealed with an Italian high-gloss lacquer. The manufacturer's logo was reproduced by screen printing, preserving its original position. We restored the bridge caps for the bass and treble — produced in four stages of profiling from selected beech wood.
Strings from renowned manufacturers were installed: bass strings by Heller and treble strings by Roslau — individually scaled and manufactured according to precise measurements. The new multi-layer pinblock was cross-laminated from high-quality beech veneers. The cast-iron frame was restored, and its surface was coated with a specially selected Italian lacquer matched to the instrument model.
Mechanics:
Wooden and metal parts were thoroughly cleaned. All cashmeres, felts and leathers were replaced with new ones. The white keytops were replaced with high-quality acrylic ones. New hammers and shanks from ABEL were installed, carefully chosen for weight, size and load. The main levers were renovated, and the action with the keyboard was precisely regulated.
The instrument underwent six tunings and intonation carried out by a certified technician.
The stated price is net.
