Well-preserved Bösendorfer 170 (170 cm, height 102 cm), Viennese action, brown, 2 pedals. Year of manufacture 1909.
I am parting with the grand piano for space reasons as part of a move. It was acquired in Freiburg two years ago; the previous owner was an elderly lady who played the instrument for decades and has since passed away.
The instrument has definitely been fully overhauled (date unknown). The tuning remains exceptionally stable – in the last two years hardly any retuning has been necessary.
The grand is easy to play and responds well. Sonically it is warm, spacious and clear, with a lively tone that is particularly evident in quiet playing.
Trial appointments are possible by arrangement; viewing on site in Witten. Price is negotiable. Further photos are available in the listing.
