Bösendorfer 290 Imperial – 290 cm concert grand piano

As a musicologist I am downsizing my instrument collection and am offering my Bösendorfer 290 Imperial (year of manufacture 1977/1978, production number 1839-32217) for sale. The instrument is in excellent condition: a complete overhaul was carried out in 2009, and in 2017 the action and hammer heads underwent further work. The soundboard is in perfect condition and shows no cracks. The grand piano was kept continuously in a temperature-controlled, humidity-optimized room with permanent monitoring and was regularly voiced by a renowned piano tuner from the Nuremberg region; the tuning is stable at 442 Hz. Specifications: 97 keys; finish: black, high-gloss polish. Sonically this model is distinguished by the typical Bösendorfer resonance and a warm, clear tone, which is why notable pianists value this instrument.
