An uncommon early concert grand crafted by John Broadwood & Sons, presented here in a rich Indian Rosewood case. This medium concert grand measures 7'10" (240 cm) and features 85 keys. Serial number 21433 identifies the instrument as originating from London ca. 1880–1885.
The piano underwent a comprehensive restoration in 2013 (Concorde, Virginia), returning the instrument to a reliable playing condition while preserving its historic character. The case and finish retain the warm tonal and visual qualities typical of Broadwood's late-19th-century work.
