All components are free of cracks; the instrument has very good tuning stability.
The grand convinces with a characterful, singing yet clear tone. With a depth of 178 cm it is ideally suited as a salon grand and offers a balanced playing feel.
The Renner action has been freshly regulated and enables effortless, expressive playing.
The instrument received a comprehensive technical overhaul: complete re-stringing and new tuning pins, renewal of the plate fittings as well as re-lacquering of the cast iron plate and soundboard. The action was also restored and re-regulated.
The Chippendale case is polished in black shellac and shows a subtle patina.
