Carl Mand grand piano 170 cm – well-maintained salon sound

This Carl Mand grand piano (built in 1900, model length 170 cm) was in the possession of our deceased mother from 1980, Dr. Anke Martiny, formerly Berlin’s Senator for Culture and a musicologist. The instrument is used, in very good overall condition, and distinguished by a warm, full sound.

Visually, the grand piano shows only slight signs of wear in the lacquer, on the left and right sides of the cabinet. Technically, the instrument is functional and currently well tuned; however, for critical professional ears we recommend a fresh tuning by a specialist.

We are selling the grand piano because there are no longer any pianists being raised in our family and we need the space in the living room. The instrument should go to good hands where it will be musically appreciated again. The price is negotiable.
