Description
Ibach F4 240 TH — sonorous concert instrument from Wuppertal
This Ibach model F‑IV 240 (“Richard Wagner”) comes from the inventory of the Immanuelskirche in Wuppertal and bears the opus number 147900. Rolf Ibach selected the instrument for the church hall; technical supervision was carried out by chief technician Thomas Henke. After numerous concerts and studio recordings, the semi-concert grand is now offered for sale.
The grand piano is in technically flawless, crack-free original condition. The touch convinces with precision and responsiveness; the tonal spectrum ranges from fine attack nuances to voluminous, concert-like bass. A few years ago new hammer heads were installed; more recently the instrument received new casters, new key coverings and a completely renewed finish.
Features:
- Last construction form of the F‑IV “Richard Wagner” model
- Optimized soundboard (Model TH) from the factory
- Renner action
- Acoustic system in impeccable condition
- New black polished finish
- Large concert casters for secure transport
A 5-year warranty applies to the buyer. Delivery within Germany (free to the door, up to 100 km, ground floor) is included; a complimentary tuning on site is also provided.
