Kawai EP308 — Portable Electric Grand with Authentic Strings

Excellent, well-preserved Kawai EP308 electric grand in overall excellent condition.

This electro-acoustic stage grand uses real piano strings together with Kawai’s weighted grand action, giving a natural touch and dynamic response. The instrument combines acoustic mechanics with built-in pickup electronics so it can be amplified or connected directly to a recording interface.

The onboard electronics feature stereo tremolo, an effects loop, and both balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" stereo outputs. For studio use you can simultaneously mic the hammers and record the direct output to create a rich, layered sound.

The black tolex finish is immaculate and the instrument spans approximately 158 cm in width. Acoustically it is quieter than many conventional pianos; with the lid closed it can be played in apartment settings with reduced disturbance.

Designed for touring, the EP308 is substantial in weight but can be tilted onto its side by one person and rolled on the built-in wheels. The original power supply cord and sustain pedal are included with the sale.
