Key features include Kawai’s patented Millennium III Action with ABS-Carbon reinforcement, NEOTEX key surfaces for improved grip and moisture control, and a Konsei Katagi rim engineered from selected hardwoods to support a full-bodied sound. The instrument uses a vertically laminated bridge with a solid maple cap and a continuous bridge design to enhance energy transfer and ensure seamless tonal transitions between bass and treble.
Additional construction highlights are a precision tapered solid spruce soundboard, dual duplex scaling for added harmonic richness, solid brass agraffes, an 11-ply multi-grip pinblock, and steel reinforcement in the keybed for long-term stability. The piano is finished with elegant fittings and a durable hard-finish music desk to protect the surface.
