Steinway & Sons A-188 — original, powerful tone

We offer a Steinway & Sons grand piano, model A-188 (188 cm), manufactured in Hamburg in 1940. The instrument has retained many original structural elements; the soundboard, bridges and ribs did not require repairs, which contributed to maintaining a long, full and noble tone.
The restoration work was carried out in accordance with Steinway & Sons standards. Mechanical adjustments and intonation were performed by technicians who have Steinway training and certifications, resulting in a piano that delivers a strong, deep and elegant sound.
