Steinway & Sons D-274 — concert grand piano after restoration

We offer a used Steinway & Sons concert grand piano, model D‑274, built in Hamburg in 1967.
The instrument underwent a comprehensive restoration of the case and action, while preserving the original elements of the soundboard, bridges and ribs.
By retaining the original soundboard, the piano has preserved the long, deep and rich tone characteristic of Steinway instruments from the 1950s–60s. The overhaul was carried out in accordance with Steinway & Sons standards.
Regulation of the action and intonation (voicing) were performed by trained, Steinway‑certified technicians, ensuring a stable and fully controllable tone and playing comfort.
The instrument is in good acoustic condition and offers a strong, noble sound; we invite you to an audition and test at a convenient time.
