This exceptional Steinway & Sons Model M-170 is housed in a distinctive art deco cabinet, combining maple and macassar ebony veneers for a striking appearance. The instrument has been sympathetically and completely restored using only genuine Steinway Hamburg materials, retaining its original character while restoring full musical responsiveness. The casework and surfaces were hand French-polished to achieve a refined, luminous finish. A matching art deco piano stool, veneered in the same exotic woods, accompanies the instrument.
